Electronic bills of delivery with SSCC codes for the first time in Slovakia

As part of a pilot project, expertly provided and supported by CCV Information systems, Slovakia has seen its historically first electronic interchange of a bill of delivery with SSCC code identifiers of individual pallets.

Electronic bills of delivery (EDI message DESADV) with SSCC codes (Serial Shipping Container Code) have been used for the first time in Slovakia by Henkel to identify goods delivered to the retail chain METRO Cash & Carry SR.

METRO expects that employing electronic bills of delivery with SSCC codes will increase the speed of goods reception and stocking by up to 30%.
